Excellent article. The thing is that it’s a Gov bureaucracy at work. Move outside anything having to do with defense and you’ll see the same, or worse.

And people want *more* government (health care, etc.)????

Gov is typically even less responsive than a private entity, but it will respond given enough pressure. Hopefully it will respond in the right way.

Be polite and very clear when you write to your Congress people.

As for who your Congressman might be, go to http://www.house.gov/Welcome.shtml and enter your zip (+4) in the upper left corner. That site will find him/her for you.

It makes me sick to see warriors have to fight for what is due to them.

I have the highest respect for people who have risked their lives so that I can be free.

We should write to our congress people and tell them to get it done.

Sandy, you’ve really hit a sore spot here. I totally agree with you on this subject. It’s a damn shame too. I know that I for one will write and maybe even call. This makes no sense to me.
